A General Update

Well hello to our currently small audience!

This is Grace, and I'm here to give just a lil bit of clarification as to what's going on with OneAndAHalfSpinsters right now.

Two big things have happened to both of us recently.

Firstly, we finished our first book commission, for a children's book called "A Great Journey Covering Little Ground". I think I might work with Sam to create a summary of the process and why we wrote and illustrated it the way we did.

Secondly, we both moved in for college! Sam's off to a fancy smart people school, and I'm at a state school halfway across the country, whose student body is about as big as my hometown. So we've both taken a bit of time to adjust, myself more than Sam, who has actually been continuing to work, albeit not posting as much as usual.

My brother was also recently married, so setup and planning and celebration filled much of my time two weeks before moving out here.

But now, we're both where we're going to be, both (mostly) know what we're doing, and we may now return to our regularly scheduled programming. Our current list of projects include, but are not limited to:

The Life of the Odd (Bimonthly updates from Sam)

Drafts of the Apocalypse novel (Sam being much further ahead than I)

Things that I plan to do (Tenuous at the moment. What I enjoy writing in practice is much different from what I enjoy writing in theory, so I think I'm going to try both. This means coming up with an idea for a story serial, and posting one chapter of that every two weeks-month or something, and also writing spur of the moment in depth descriptions of things. That's an odd description, but it's an odd, relatively pointless thing that I just happen to enjoy.)

We also have some other even more nebulous plans, but given that nothing will ever come from probably half of them, I figured I should play it safe and only mention what is definitely coming.

Like I said, this is an update about us in general, I just want to let people know that we are still alive and planning on creating. More updates with follow, both with plans and content and everything. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do as Sam suggested an buy a massive Starbucks.
